There’s nothing like watching a project come to life from paper and knowing you helped build it. Gerber is a successful company, and they’ve proven it not just through their work, but through how they treat their people. They genuinely try to take care of each employee—and that’s how you keep good people around. Construction reminds me a lot of a sports team. You build real camaraderie. The work can be tough—hot, cold, windy, rainy, or snowy—but you show up every day and push through it together.
