PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

One of the things that makes Gerber strong is the experience and knowledge that each of you brings to the company. Every day, you have opportunities to learn something new, whether it comes through training, hands-on experience, conversations with coworkers, or the challenges you face on the job.

Learning doesn’t always mean learning something completely new. It can mean finding a better way to do something you’ve done a hundred times, understanding why a process works the way it does, or learning from a mistake so it doesn’t happen again. It can also mean passing your knowledge on to someone else. The experience you’ve gained over the years has value, and sharing that experience helps strengthen the entire team.

Our industry is constantly changing, and we need to change and improve with it. New equipment, technology, processes, regulations, and expectations give us opportunities to keep developing our skills. The more willing we are to learn, the better prepared we are to take on whatever comes next.

As an employee-owned company, we all have a stake in Gerber’s continued growth. When we take the time to learn, improve our skills, and share what we know, we are helping build a stronger company for everyone.

This month, take a moment to think about what you can learn from the people around you. Some of the best lessons don’t come from a manual or a training course. They come from experience, from asking questions, and from working together.

Thank you for the knowledge, experience, and willingness to learn that each of you brings to Gerber every day. There is always more to learn, and there is always an opportunity to get better.
